Referring to madden’s letter to the Herald Sun
Who decides the planning rules and does the community have any influence in the decision or special policy making in matters that ultimately affect their quality & balance of liveability, environment and prosperity?

Melbourne 2030 envisages to ultimately enhance and sustain Melbourne’s liveability, place attractiveness and prosperity and the change management approach to achieve this vision is based on 9 principles for maximising the propensity to develop a sustainable future Melbourne in all Melbourne 2030 initiatives and policies development. Presently, there is obsessed focus on delivering the M2030 initiatives and developing implementation fast tracking policies to address the other and higher priorities of unexpected state/national population and unaffordable housing, rather than the original outcome-qualities stated in the Melbourne 2030 vision and compliance to the 9 principles for sustainable city growth. One of the 9 principles indicate disclosing accountability – we have not see any commitment or materiality of responsibility-measures for increasing local liveability, environment sustainability and measuring sustainable prosperity arising from Melbourne 2030 style developments in Monash yet.
