Brandon Park is part of Mulgrave, 20 km south-east of Melbourne CBD. The neighbourhood area is bounded by Springvale Road, Monash Freeway, Lum Road and Ferntree Gully Road.
Who are we?
We are residents from Brandon Park, who are concerned about inappropriate high density developments in our neighbourhood and the lack of sustainable planning and change management by our local and state governments.
As a community, our liveability issues and risks are being ignored by our governments, who are pursuing inappropriate developments at all costs to meet their Melbourne @ 5 million agendas. Our governments are discarding their social and environment responsibility in planning, allow opportunistic developers and VCAT escalation catalyse fast track developments that do not enhance and sustain our liveability and run at a high risk of creating future social and environment problems.
